September 27, 2009 -- "All that Glitters"

Adult Side-by-Side musicians 


The glittering season opener features popular soloist Donna Grooms (from The Skyliners) singing music by Lerner & Lowe as well as Brazil's Antonio Carlos Jobim.  Baritone Jason Michael Swauger will perform music of Frank Sinatra and Martha Long, winner of the Pittsburgh Flute Club Competition, will perform Charles Griffes' "Poem for Flute and Orchestra."  With music by Andrew Lloyd Weber and more, this concert will appeal to every member of the family.

Treat your family to a sleigh load of musical favorites, yuletide tunes and carols with your favorite orchestra and the soaring voices of the McKeesport Area Community Chorus.  Alice Heatherington will warm your heart as she returns from New York to sing with the McKeesport Symphony for this special holiday concert.

May 16, 2010 -- "Rhythms on Fire"    

This program will feature music with a Latin beat, inlcuding Leonard Bernstein's passionate and fiery music for the Broadway musical West Side Story.
